A field is marked out with cones. Three cone goals are set up inside the field. Two teams of 4 are formed.
Procedure
Team red and team blue play against each other and try to score as many goals as possible. A goal can be scored by passing the ball (from either side) through one of the cone goals and having a teammate control it on the other side. Both teams have free play (no touch limit). If a team scores, they can immediately attack another cone goal. The team without possession must try to defend all goals.
Tip
- The objective for the defenders is either to win possession or to push the ball carrier into a non-dangerous area to the side and to block the passing lane to the goal/teammate by double-teaming or tucking in. - Both teams should be in constant motion. The players constantly try to make themselves available and offer passing options to their teammates. - The team without possession tries to cleverly close down passing lanes and spaces and constantly applies pressure on the ball carrier and his nearby teammates. - This game format requires an enormous running volume and game intelligence and is characterised by constant communication and a constant back-and-forth between attacking and defending. - 10 cones
