A goal is set up on the goal line with a goalkeeper. Two teams of 5 (red and blue) are formed. The 5 red players along with 3 blue players go into the centre circle at midfield. One of the two remaining blue players positions himself on the midfield line at the left sideline, the other on the midfield line at the right sideline.
Procedure
In the centre circle, the red team plays 5 vs 3 against the blue team. The red players are limited to 2 touches; the blue players try to win the ball. If the blue players win the ball, they must immediately pass toward goal into the path of one of the two blue wide strikers. As soon as the pass is made, the players from the centre circle join the attack. This means the 3 blue players become attackers and the red team becomes defenders. The second wide player also joins the attack, creating a 5 vs 5. After a set period, team red and team blue switch positions.
Tip
- The three outnumbered players in the centre circle become offensive players after winning the ball. - The pass should be played sharply toward the corner of the penalty area. - The wide players must be focused and look for the quickest path to goal. - The players in possession in the centre circle should control the ball and always have a central target player. After losing the ball, they must immediately sprint toward goal and try to stop the attack. - 1 full-size goal(s)
