6 + 1 against 6 + 1 in three zones

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point

Setup

With cones, a playing field and two wing zones located to the side of the playing field are built up. A goal is placed at the head of the field, into which a goalkeeper positiones. Two teams of 8 (blue and red) are formed. The balls are distributed at the goals.

Procedure

6 on 6 is played on the field with a maximum of 2 ball contacts and a valid offside rule. Both teams have one winger in the outer zones. In the outer zones, a 1 against 1 is played. The players in the outer zones are not allowed on the field. They should dribble towards the baseline after the pass and flank into the penalty area. The players in the field must pass the ball on one of their wingers after a maximum of 4 passes in their own team. The possession of the ball changes after each completed attack.

Tip

- The defenders try to close the rooms and the pass routes when the players open. - If the winger has the ball, each defensive player assigns himself to an attacker. - After winning the ball, the defender or goalkeeper immediately initiates a counterattack via the winger. - The teams should be constantly on the move. The players constantly try to offer themselves and to be available to their fellow players as a reference station. - At least two players of the team cross and move in the direction of the first and second posts, the third player sits down in the back area. The flank encoder therefore has various pass options. - This form of play is characterized by constant communication and an interplay between attack and defense. - The outside lane player has to assert himself in 1 against 1 and play the cross quickly and sharply into the penalty area. - After completing the offensive action, the flanker must immediately switch to defensive. - The defenders block the path and pass to the goal and offer the attacker the outside. - 6 cones, 2 large field goal (s)
