6 + 2 against 6 + 2 in three zones

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point

Setup

A playing field with 3 zones is marked out with cones. A goal is placed on both ends of the field in which a goalkeeper goes. Two teams of eight (blue and red) are formed. The balls are distributed to the goals. Zones: Close zones: Free play. Only the two defenders and the two strikers are allowed in them. Middle zone: 2 ball contacts. Any number of players.

Procedure

It is played 8 against 8. Due to the limited number of contacts in the middle zone, the players are forced to bypass them quickly and allude to the strikers. In the zones close to the goal, the strikers are obliged to look for 1 against 1 situations and go into dribbling.

Tip

- The defenders try to close the rooms and pass routes when the players open. - If the winger has the ball, each defensive player assigns himself to an attacker. - After winning the ball, the defender or goalkeeper immediately initiates a counterattack via the winger. - The teams should be constantly on the move. The players constantly try to offer themselves and to be available to their fellow players as a reference station. - At least two players of the team the cross and move in the direction of the first and second posts, the third player stays back. The flanking player therefore has various pass options. - This form of play is characterized by constant communication and an interplay between attack and defense. - The strikers have to prevail again and again in 1 against 1 and try to finish the goal - After the offensive action has been completed, the defensive must be switched over immediately, since the goalkeeper initiates the counterattack. - The defender closes the path and pass to the goal and offers the outside. - In midfield there is a free-wheeling and passing game with the goal of hitting a striker. - 8 cones, 2 large field goal (s)
