6 against 6 + goalkeeper

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point

Setup

Two teams (yellow and blue) are formed that play against each other on one half of the field. A goal is placed on the baseline and on the center line, into which a goalkeeper goes.

Procedure

There is a fixed system and task allocation for both teams. The yellow team plays in the 3-2-1 formation and the blue team in the 2-3-1 formation. Team yellow has the task of remaining in possession of the ball for as long as possible. They must not score a goal and must defend both goals if the ball is lost. The blue team has to put pressure on the yellow team and try to conquer the ball. After winning the ball, it must attack the goal furthest away at the moment the ball is captured and try to score a goal. After each completed attack, the player opens again via the yellow goalkeeper with ball possession by the yellow team.

Tip

- The team in possession of the ball should make the game long and wide. This gives them more possibilities. - After losing the ball, they must immediately switch to the defensive to the most distant goal. - The defensive team must move in the team group. - After winning the ball there is a quick switch from defense to attack to the most distant goal. - 6 cones or more, 2 large field goal (s)
