A cone square is set up, inside which a circular zone is built with yellow cones. A target player goes into this zone. The remaining players position themselves according to the diagram with a ball in the square.
Procedure
The red team has possession in numerical advantage and must constantly try to play one-twos with the player in the centre circle. The blue team tries to prevent this. After two minutes, three other players switch into the defending position. Variations: - The team with numerical advantage must play one-touch. - The centre player may only be played to after 5 touches. - Every third or fifth pass must go to the centre player. - Free play, but every third ball must be played through the centre position.
Tip
- The team in possession must be in constant motion and form triangles. - The pass timing and start timing play a crucial role. - Demand pass sharpness and accuracy. The defending team constantly tries to close down passing lanes and push the ball carrier to the outside. - 10 cones
