Tip
- The focus of this game form is on practising defensive running patterns with the follow-up actions of 'quick transition from defence to attack' or ball control after winning the ball. Additionally, the team in possession practices off-the-ball movement with the aim of scoring a goal. - The objective for the defenders is either to win possession or to push the ball carrier into a non-dangerous area to the side and block his passing lane toward the goal/teammate through double-teaming or tucking in. The midfielder tries to double-team or block passing lanes. - Triangles must constantly be formed to create passing options. - Both teams should be in constant motion. Players continuously try to make themselves available as passing options for their teammates. - Getting stuck in a tight space should be avoided. Therefore, switching play and passes in behind should be played regularly. - This game form requires enormous running volume and tactical awareness and is characterised by constant communication. - 16 cones
