  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point

Setup

Construction of a playing field with two end zones marked by cones at the upper and lower end of the playing field. Two teams of eight are formed.

Procedure

In the field (central square), 8 against 8 are played with a maximum of 2 contacts. By passing on to teammate in one of the two end zones, the teams can score a point. The ball contact number is free in the end zones. If a point is scored, the same team can only score the next point by passing into the opposite end zone. Variant: Points can only be scored if the player played in the end zone can pass the ball directly onto a second player in the same end zone.

Tip

- Triangles have to be formed again and again to offer play stations. - The passing game alternates between many short passes and long passes in order to shift the play zones. - The teams should be constantly on the move. The players constantly try to offer themselves and to be available to their fellow players as a passing option. - The team without the ball tries to block the pass routes and rooms skillfully and puts constant pressure on the player who owns the ball and his teammates. - A long play in a narrow space should be avoided. Therefore, side changes or passes in depth should be played regularly. - This form of play requires an enormous amount of running and understanding of the game and is characterized by constant communication. In addition, she trains the short pass game, playing in tight spaces and quickly change sides. - The team in possession of the ball should have occupied the outsides, the center and the half positions. - Players have to move from the opponent to the end zone again and again. - 8 cones
