• 4 dummies
• Divide 7 attackers and 2 defenders (for more players, positions rotate)
All three variations must be performed alternately. Players can decide which action to initiate, but each time a different action must be started.
Variation 1: The central midfielder (8) passes to the full-back (3), who then plays the ball to the winger (11) in the half-space and makes a run forward. The winger plays the ball back to the full-back, who delivers a cross. The center forward (9) and the far-side winger make runs into the box. The near-side winger positions himself for a potential rebound.
Variation 2: The central midfielder (8) and the winger (11) execute a quick one-two around the dummy in the center. The central midfielder takes a shot immediately afterward.
Variation 3: The central midfielder (8) passes to the center forward (9), who then plays a through ball to the winger (11) in stride. The winger takes a shot.
Coaching Points
• Maintain a game-like tempo in all variations.
• Variation 1: Make a dynamic forward run with timing, not too early. Attack the near (1st and 2nd post) and far post areas, and the central area for potential rebounds. Deliver the cross directly or at the latest with the second touch.
• Variation 2: Dribble around the dummy to engage it. After the pass, immediately accelerate with an explosive change of pace. The center forward plays the ball with the far-side foot.
• Variation 3: Play a sharp pass to the center forward. The center forward redirects the ball with the far-side foot.
