Two teams of 7 players each are formed. There is an additional target player and a goal with a goalkeeper. The field size corresponds to one half of the field.
Procedure
The game is started by the target player with a pass to the attacking team (blue). Team blue now has the opportunity to finish on goal. If team red wins the ball, they must try to pass to the target player. If successful, the attacking rights switch and team red starts the next attack. Alternative: Team blue has 3 minutes to score goals. If team red wins the ball, they must try to pass to the target player. Then team blue starts a new attacking attempt. After a goal, play also restarts from the target player. After 3 minutes, the teams switch positions, and team red attacks while blue defends. Normal rules apply during the game, including throw-ins, corner kicks, free kicks, etc.
Tip
- A constant interplay of attack and defence develops. - Both teams should have established defensive and offensive formations beforehand. - The objective for defenders is either to win possession or to force the attacker with the ball into a non-dangerous area toward the side, blocking the passing lane to the goal or to a teammate through double-teaming or tucking in. The midfielder tries to double-team or close the passing lane. - On offence, constant movement and quick, precise passing are required. Depth in the positioning of players should be ensured, avoiding movement on the same line (depth means creating passing options). The wide players should use the full width of the field and position themselves on the sideline. - When the attack is carried through the wide players, players from the half-spaces try to make overlapping runs or act as passing targets and crossing options from deep. The wide player has the option to dribble, cross, pass, or shoot on goal. - 1 full-size goal(s)
