Setup

The four players (blue A, B, C, D and X defenders / red E, F, G and H attackers) move from their basic formation on the field into the final position shown in this diagram. The ball is with Player E.

Procedure

Behaviour and shifting in ball-oriented zone defennse Variation: 2 strikers are positioned near the centre backs in the dangerous zone Alternative formation and running paths/staggering of the back four (tucking in, shifting) when the ball is played from opposing player E to the left attacking side into the space/zone of Player F, and the two strikers G and H are positioned centrally near the goal.n Player D tucks in to the far post, approximately at the same height as Player C. Player C marks opposing striker H and Player B marks striker G. A presses the ball carrier F.

- This scenario applies when the left wide midfielder has enough time to tuck in and is not bound to another opponent. - 1 full-size goal(s)
