Ball acceptance volley with back to the transmitter

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players

Setup

Construction of a goal as well as two starting cones according to the drawing. All players, except for one, gather with balls at the cone A, one player goes to cone B.

Procedure

The player A lobs the ball from the stand or a short start over the player B. This accepts the ball and shoots it directly as a volley or as a drop kick on the goal. Player A then immediately goes to position B, Player B, after taking the ball, to position A.

Tip

- When lobing the foot goes under the ball, which is then raised with the full tension up to the baffle. - Also demand shots on goal with the weak foot (always alternately once right - once left etc.). - Immediately after one player has fired, the next one will start to avoid delays. - While the volley the upper body is slightly bent forward. The ball is hit at a low point (not too high). So the ball gets stronger pressure and a higher accuracy. - In the case of a drop kick, the ball is hit with the instep just as the ball touches the ground. - 2 cones, 1 large field goal (s)
