Each player goes into the penalty area with their ball.
Procedure
The players gather in the penalty area, start dribbling with the ball, and perform the following moves or ball skill exercises on the coach's command: - Lunge feint - Cut inside/outside (chop) - Stepover (standing, from a run, with opponent) - Inside scissors - inside stepover - Pull behind the plant foot - Sole technique (pull back) - Pull the ball back with the sole and play it past the opponent to the side - Shot fake / single shot fake / double shot fake - Shot fake + feint/jump - "Caress" the ball with the inner sole (inside of the foot/sole) sideways - Pass the ball quickly back and forth between the insides of both feet - Ball right left with the sole (forward, backward, sideways) - Quick skipping on the ball right/left - Pirouette - Ronaldo trick I - Ronaldo trick II - Okocha trick - Locomotive - Ball control inside / outside of the foot and instep - Turn around own axis with max. 3 touches (inside and outside) - Sole forward / backward The coach can select from this variety of options. This drill sequence should be trained with a group that has been practising the individual exercises for a considerable time. Alternative: The coach sets up a cone as an obstacle (opponent) which the players should beat after the drill is called out.
Tip
- High concentration in the group - Continuously check the execution of the technique - Increased demands on the players, as they must execute the technique as quickly as possible when called out. - Anticipation, awareness, reaction, and action speed with the ball are trained simultaneously. Additionally, the players necessarily develop field vision, as they simultaneously need to look for a free cone while assigning the technique, make sure they don't collide with a teammate, and execute the move cleanly and quickly.
