Ball Lift Behind the Standing Leg

Setup

Set up a cone square or use open space.

Procedure

The ball is in front of the player. The player stands in a staggered stance. The player pulls the ball back with the right inside/sole, steps forward to the left with the right foot (lunge to the left) and lifts the ball into the air with the inside/instep of the left standing leg. 1 - Pull the ball back with the right inside/sole 2 - The left standing leg is angled upward toward the ball 3 - Pull/play the ball upward with the left inside/instepn

Tip

- The technique should be executed in one quick, fluid motion. - The upper body is upright. - The right leg is bent. - The left standing leg is initially extended and moves into a slightly bent position during execution. - 4 cones
