Each player has a ball. Set up a cone square or use open space.
Procedure
The player stands upright, feet about 10 centimetres apart. The feet are slightly splayed (heels close together). The ball lies between the feet. Now the player snaps the feet together abruptly (the feet slide under the ball). The quick closing of the feet gives the ball an upward impulse, launching it into the air.
Tip
- The ball must stay close to the body so it can be immediately played after the lift (e.g., juggling). - Eyes on the ball, upper body slightly leaning forward. - Toes are pulled up. - 4 cones
