Ball Lift with the Standing Leg from the Front

Setup

Each player has a ball. Set up a cone square or use open space.

Procedure

The ball is in front of the player. The player stands in a staggered stance. With the right foot, using the inside, heel or sole, the player plays the ball backward toward the standing leg. The player lets the ball roll onto the instep, lifting the foot so the ball is controlled into the air. 1 - Pull the ball back with the right sole 2 - Get the left instep under the ball 3 - Lift the ball upward with the instep 4 - Play the ball into the air with the instepn

Tip

- The ball must stay close to the body so it can be immediately played after the lift (e.g., juggling). - Eyes on the ball, upper body slightly leaning forward. - 4 cones
