Brazilian Warm-up

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19, Men's / Women's

Setup

  • 4 cones, 2 rows with a distance of 20 meters each
  • Divide into groups of equal size

Procedure

On the way there, each of the following coordination tasks is performed three times. The return journey is completed in a normal run.

Coordination Tasks:

  • Two sets of sidesteps forward to the left, then two sets of sidesteps forward to the right.
  • Raise both elbows to shoulder height and twist the upper body rhythmically twice to the right, twice to the left, and so on.
  • Touch the ground inside with both hands in time with the run. Twice to the right, twice to the left, and so on.
  • Raise both elbows to shoulder height and rhythmically push them back twice, then clap hands twice.
  • Right hand claps on the left thigh pulled up, left hand claps on the right thigh pulled up, then clap hands twice in time with the run.
  • Right hand touches right heel, left hand touches left heel, then clap hands twice in time with the run.
  • Quickly perform two sets of sidesteps backwards to the left, then two sets of sidesteps backwards to the right.

Tip

  • Depending on the number of players, form multiple rows to ensure spacing between players.
  • Place another cone after 5-7 meters. The next player starts only when the player ahead has reached the level of this cone.
