Coordination

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point

Setup

  • Depending on the available number of different cone and bib colors, multiple teams can be formed.
  • Each color corresponds to a team; however, there must always be an equal number of bibs and cones in a color.
  • In our example, there are 4 red players/cones, 4 yellow players/cones, and 4 blue players/cones. Additionally, you'll need:
  • 4 cones to mark the outer field
  • 1 ball per player

Procedure

Players dribble freely in the field. There are a total of 3 commands:

  • SAME COLOR: Each player goes to a cone of their color.
  • DIFFERENT COLOR: Each player goes to a cone that does not match their color.
  • BLUE-RED: Blue goes to red; YELLOW-WHITE: Yellow goes to white, etc.

Variations:

  • Remove 1 cone of any color. Then conduct the exercise in the form of "Musical Chairs."
  • Remove 1 cone of each color.

Players who fail to reach a cone on command or make mistakes are "punished" (tempo dribbling around the field, push-ups, etc.).

Tip

Coaching Points:

  • Demand various dribbling variations.
  • After the command, first look up.
