Coordination and Ball Reception under Pressure

Setup

  • 2 balls
  • 10 rings
  • 6 - 8 low hurdles
  • 2 cones

Procedure

  • Players A and B start simultaneously. They clear the hurdles with 2 intermediate contacts each. At 2, player A receives a semi-high ball from player C, which he plays back with the inside of the foot / instep and runs around the cone for action 3.
  • At 3, the player crosses the rings. At 4, the player receives a chest-high ball from player D, which he controls with the chest and plays back (instep, inside, dropkick...) and then runs around the cone for the starting action.

Tip

  • Always incorporate the "weaker" foot in the return passes.
  • Incorporate heading in action 4.
