Coordination circle

Setup

• 1 Coordination ladder
• 5 pylons
• 5 cones
• 3 flags
• 6 poles

Procedure

Start at starting point A. For the first player put a ball ready after the coordination ladder.

The following tasks are performed in a circle

1: Run through coordination ladder (forwards or backwards)
2: take the ball
3: dribble around the pylons at a fast pace (change feet)
4: Dribble through the cones in slalom
5: Pass the ball to station 3
6: Run fast around the flags
7: Sidesteps through the poles
8: Loose trot to the end

The next player starts the exercise when the player in front of him has passed through the cone slalom.

Tip

Coaching Points

• Coordination ladder: take hands correctly, work on the front foot
• Passing: play passes with enough sharpness, look for eye contact before passes and take balls directly into the movement
• Dribbling: tight and two-footed ball control
• Sidesteps: Establish a low center of gravity and body tension
