Corner Kick Variation V

Forwards I and J are positioned side by side at the level of the 6-yard box. Centre backs C and B as well as right central midfielder G are placed at the level of the penalty area line. Left outside midfielder E is positioned centrally in the area behind the penalty area and left central midfielder F behind him, slightly offset to the left. The two fullbacks A and D stand at the two half-central positions at the level of the halfway line. Player H takes the corner. The ball is delivered between the 6-yard box and the penalty spot or at the level of the 6-yard box. As soon as H starts his run-up, the two forwards I and J cross. J runs toward the near post, I toward the far post. Right central midfielder G runs to the position between the near post and the middle of the 6-yard box, and player B runs toward the far post. Right centre back C runs into the centre between the 6-yard box and the penalty spot, player E covers the area behind and tries to convert any cleared balls. Player F as well as the two fullbacks A and D cover the back. After each corner kick, everyone returns to their original positions and the next round starts. Forward variation: Forward I can also be positioned at the near post, where he can flick on balls or finish directly on goal. J stands near the goalkeeper and tries to disrupt him (no fouling). Practice first without defenders to develop automatisms. Later add defenders and of course practise from both sides.
