Counterattack Practice Part 4

  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players

Setup

  • Set up 4 cones to create a central zone.
  • Place 2 goals.

Procedure

Variant 1 (Basic Exercise):

  • Play 3v3 in the central zone.
  • The goal is for the team in possession to complete 6 consecutive passes.
  • After achieving this, quickly find and play the designated player with a sharp and precise pass.
  • The designated player takes the pass and has a maximum of 3 touches to shoot on goal.

Variant 2 (Wing Play):

  • Play 3v3 in the central zone.
  • The objective is for the team in possession to complete 6 consecutive passes.
  • Once achieved, quickly find and play the designated player on the wings with a sharp and precise pass.
  • The winger delivers the ball into the box through a cross or a sharp pass to the three players from the central zone who have moved into the box.
  • Pay attention to the positioning and occupation of the players on the goal line. Initially, only attacking players are allowed to move forward, later also the defending players to make it more challenging.
