Course with 3 goal shots

  • Age U14 - U19, Men's / Women's
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players, 16-22+ players

Setup

• 3 large Goals manned by TW
• 2-3 medium hurdles
• 9 mini hurdles
• 5 cones
• 8-12 balls
• 6-8 poles
• 6 cones

Players are positioned evenly at stations A through C.

Minimum 2 Players at each Station A, B, C.

There is 1 thrower and 2 passers (ZP).

Balls are placed by the players, by the thrower and in or next to the goal at station C.

Procedure

All three stations start the exercise at the same time. After completing an exercise at one station, players move clockwise to the next station.

At Station A, the player runs through the mini hurdles with sidesteps. Then he sprints towards ZP1, gets the pass he takes and scores or completes directly. Then he runs on and lines up at station C.

At Station B, Player B jumps over the medium-high hurdles, followed by a skipping run over the poles. He gets a ball from the thrower, which he heads back. This is followed by another skipping run over poles, a sprint to ZP2, from whom he receives a pass which he completes directly.

At Station C, player runs in a slalom around the first two cones, then sprints through the cones alternating forward/backward. He receives a pass from the goalkeeper (also half-high) and must finish directly. The goalkeeper gets the next ball, the player runs towards station B.

Tip

• The goal is to train perception, anticipation, reaction and to promote fast, explosive movements and kicks, paired with techniques appropriate to the game (header, goal kick).
• When shooting at goal, pay attention to the sharpness and accuracy of the pass.
• Quick, short movements during drills
• When taking a header, maintain arc tension and head the ball with the forehead, short ground contact time
• When sprinting, start in stride position on the balls of the feet. At the beginning, the upper body is bent far forward, the body's center of gravity is at hip level, the gaze goes downward. After pushing off strongly over the balls of the feet, the upper body is gradually straightened, the gaze lifts and the step frequency increases. The arms are actively moved alternately with the leg movement (if the right leg goes forward, the left arm goes forward and vice versa). After the first 3-4 steps on the balls of the feet, the whole foot is now unrolled (heel->sole->ball of the foot), the upper body is upright and calm, the step frequency increases to the maximum.
