Cones are placed every 20 m as distance markers on the field (see diagram). The players line up at the stations, at the starting cones on the goal line.
Procedure
Groups of 4-6 players run together. The players complete progressive runs over increasing distances at maximum speed. First they run to the first cone (20 m), sprint back to the starting cone, then sprint to cone 2 (40 m), and so on. After completing the first round with the 100 m sprint, they run the 100 metres again and then descending distances: 80 m, 60 m, 40 m, and 20 m. Multiple rounds can be trained.
