A hurdle is set up centrally in front of the goal. The goalkeeper stands beside it. The goalkeeper coach stands with balls approximately 10 m from the goal (see graphic).
Procedure
The coach throws the balls toward the goalkeeper so that he must jump sideways over the hurdle to catch them. The next round then starts from the other side so that the goalkeeper alternately jumps left and right.
Tip
- The goalkeeper starts his action as soon as the ball leaves the coach's hand. - The takeoff is performed either without or with only one intermediate step. Multiple steps result in too much time lost. The body weight is on the push-off leg during takeoff. - The goalkeeper jumps to the side with a swing step. To the right by swinging through the right foot and pushing off sideways through the balls of the feet. To the left by swinging through the left foot. - In this movement sequence, the hands and face point toward the coach. - The goal is to not touch the hurdle and to hold onto the ball. - 1 full-size goal(s)
