Double Jump Feint / Sole

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point

Procedure

The ball is played with the inside of the right foot to the left. The player then starts a triple-jump feint. He jumps first to the right, then immediately to the left, then to the right again, and dribbles on with the left outside. Then he starts a fast sole dribble (skipping). The player alternates using the right and left instep (once each right and left). Then the technique drill is repeated, starting with the left inside.

Tip

Jump feint technique: - The ball is lightly tapped lightning-fast with the right inside. The foot goes in front of the ball to the left so it can be played lightning-fast with the right outside. - The foot is on the right ball of the foot. - The leg is bent. - Alternating upper body position between upright and leaning forward. Skipping on the ball technique: - The upper body is upright at the start and then slightly leaning over the ball. - Do not lean backward. - Touch the ball with the sole or the ball of the foot. - The ball is touched alternately with right/left. - It should be a fluid, fast movement. - Bend the leg. - Only one intermediate step with one foot (e.g., left foot touches the ground, right foot (ball of the foot) touches the ball). - Do not play with the inside. - Short ground contact times. - Ground contact only with the balls of the feet. Not flat-footed.
