Setup

  • 2 mini goals
  • Cones
  • Coordination ladder
  • Slalom pole

Procedure

Players A and C pass to B and D, respectively. Player A goes through the coordination ladder (specify various step and jump sequences). Player C goes through the pole course. Players B and D dribble through the slalom course and then finish on the mini goals. Afterwards, players retrieve the ball from the goal and line up at the positions next to the goal.

Tip

Coaching Points

  • Take the ball directly into movement
  • Combine direction changes in dribbling with body feints
  • Ensure adequate body weight shifting during body feints
  • After the body feint, take the ball with a sharp direction change and an explosive change of pace
