  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players

Setup

Construction of several cones facing each other according to the graphic. The players distribute themselves on the cones. The respective starting player has a ball.

Procedure

The players in possession of the ball start dribbling to the other side. Different feints should be performed during dribbling. Shortly before the opposite cone, the ball is handed over to the player there.

Tip

- Different fints can be rehearsed, but fints can also be repeated again and again for better automation. - The players have to develop a running and a handover timing and keep looking upwards while dribbling. - Demand clean, tight ball control (ball is not more than 50 cm away from the foot) and fast dribbling. - Approx. The ball is handed over 50-100 cm apart. - The handover of the ball is followed by a 2-3 m long sprint (loosening from the opponent). - As soon as the ball has been handed over, the next two players start (red / gray - start timing). - The exercise can easily be practiced with up to 20 players. - 4 cones
