Set up two opposing goals and two start/finish cones as shown in the diagram. Players distribute evenly to the two starting cones with the ball. The goalkeepers go into the goals.
Players A and B simultaneously dribble toward the cone and perform a feint in front of the cone with a finishing shot on goal, then line up on the opposite side.
- When dribbling, make sure the ball is kept close to the outside of the foot (ball no further than 50 cm from the foot). - Perform the feint about 2 metres from the orientation cone. Try to finish at the height of the cone or directly behind it. - Demand different feints (step-over, pirouette, shot fake, jump fake, etc.). - Make sure shooting is trained with both right and left foot. - Pay attention to correct body posture when shooting (upper body over the ball; standing foot approx. 30-40 cm to the side of the ball, foot points in the direction of the shot; arms swing along; the arm closest to the shooting leg follows the leg's backswing, the other moves forward; the eyes are on the ball at the moment of the shot). - Different shooting techniques (inside kick, instep, curving, etc.) can be practised (if necessary at the coach's request). - Immediately after the active player shoots, the next player starts dribbling. - 6 cones, 2 full-size goal(s)
