4 cones are set up as a diamond. The players position themselves with balls at the cones according to the diagram.
Procedure
B starts dribbling and tries together with player D to score a point by placing the ball behind the imaginary cone line at player A's starting position. A and E try to prevent this. A 2v2 situation develops. If A wins the ball, he tries with E to dribble to the other side. Variations: - 2 vs 1 - 3 vs 2n
Tip
- When the ball carrier begins dribbling, that is the start signal for all other players. - Player C offers himself and tries to make an overlapping run. - Defensive duel (winning the ball is the top priority! Don't just kick the ball away.) - Position the body so that the opponent is pushed away from the goal toward the outside. Close down the path to the end line. Stand sideways, show one side; lure the opponent where you want him; then push your body in between to win the ball. - Stand on the balls of the feet, not flat-footed. - Try to reduce the opponent's speed. (This buys time for other defenders in a real game situation.) - Attacking duel If possible, approach the opponent at full speed. At slow speed, try to use a body feint. - 4 cones
