  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players

Setup

4 cones are set up as a diamond and the players position themselves at the cones according to the diagram.

Procedure

Player B carries the ball 2-3 steps and plays a one-two with player D. Then B passes the ball to player A and joins the line there. Player A starts the same passing sequence with player C on the other side. Variations: - Receive the ball and play on with the second touch - Direct (one-touch) passing - With two balls simultaneously (started at the positions of players A + B)

Tip

- Correct body position when receiving and controlling the ball. - Passing accuracy and pass timing. - The wall-pass player makes a counter-movement and lays the ball off into the run of the player expecting the ball. - Pass sharply and firmly. - Don't run faster than you pass. - The passer waits to start his run until the ball has left the wall-passer's foot. - Ball control with one touch or direct passing. - Pass timing (the player expecting the ball may start when the passer goes into his passing motion). - 4 cones
