Dribbling instep/outstep and laces

Setup

One ball per player in a marked field.

Procedure

The players dribble alternately in the space provided with the instep, outstep and the laces. The players should keep their head up in order to not dribble out of the playing area or to collide with the other players.

Tip

4 cones, Dribbling laces: - The ankle should be open. - The leg flexed. - The players should use a light touch. - The player should run around the ball when the direction changes. - Upper body leant forward. - Players should keep their head up and an eye on the ball. - The players should not use the instep or outstep. Particularly children tend to turn their ankle inwards and move the ball with their outstep. The coach should correct the player on this point and ensure that the players
