Dribbling with a shot on goal

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players

Setup

Construction of two opposing goals and two start and finish cones according to the graphic. The players distribute themselves evenly to the two starting cones with the ball. The goalkeepers go into the goals.

Procedure

Players A and B dribble in the direction of the cone at the same time and, when they reach the cone, shoot at the goal and line up at the cone opposite.

Tip

When dribbling, ensure that the ball is kept close to the outside span (ball no further than 50 cm from the foot). - Make sure that the shot on goal is trained with right and left. - Pay attention to the correct posture when shooting (upper body above the ball; standing leg offset approx. 30-40 cm to the side of the ball, foot pointing in the direction of the shot; arms swing along; the arm closest to the shooting leg makes the leg's backward movement , the other is led forward; the eyes are on the ball at the moment of the shot). - Different shooting techniques (inside kick, instep, twisting, etc.) can be practiced (if necessary at the request of the trainer). - Immediately after the active player shoots on goal, the next player starts dribbling. - 6 cones, 2 large field goal (s)
