Tip
- Make sure that the skills demanded in this drill (dribbling, feints, passing, sprinting) are executed quickly, precisely, and without long wait times for the player expecting the ball. - The inner cone should always be dribbled around as tightly as possible. - When executing the feint, pay attention to proper timing (start the feint at approx. 1-2 m distance from the cone). - The handover pass to the next player should always be played in his running direction and not behind him. - When dribbling, make sure the fastest dribbling technique (outside of the foot) is used. - Continuously remind the ball-carrying players to check by looking up regularly whether an even tempo is maintained between the players during the drill. If not, the players must independently adjust the tempo briefly until the correct spacing is restored. This is necessary, on one hand, so the drill runs smoothly and, on the other hand, so the players are repeatedly required to take their eyes off the ball and observe their surroundings. - 4 cones
