Construction of a large square cone and a smaller square cone placed in it. The players are evenly distributed among the four cones of the large square. The respective starting player has a ball.
The four starting players begin by dribbling to the nearest inner cone, which you pass inside (starting from the left). From there, dribble on to the outer bag on the right, where you pass the ball to the next player (see path markings in the graphic). Variants: - Perform a feint in front of the cone and then dribble to the next outer cone. - Speed dribbling to the inner cone and passing the ball directly behind it to the waiting player on the next outer cone. After the pass, run to the cone in a sprint. - Dribble + feint in front of the cone and pass to the next cone player. Passway = walking path.
- Make sure that the content required in this exercise (dribbling, feinting, passing, sprinting) is carried out quickly, precisely and without long waiting times for the player waiting for the ball. - The inner cone should always be dribbled as tightly as possible. - When executing the feint, ensure that the execution timing is correct (start of the feint approx. 1-2 m from the cone). - The ball transferring pass to the next player should always be in the direction of his run and not in his back. - When dribbling, make sure that the fastest dribbling technique (outer instep) is used. - Instruct the players in possession of the ball to regularly look up to check whether a steady pace is maintained between the players during the exercise. If not, the players have to vary the tempo independently for a short time until the correct distances are restored. This is necessary, on the one hand, so that the practice sequence works smoothly and, on the other hand, so that the players are repeatedly asked to take their eyes off the ball and observe their surroundings. - 4 cones
