Set up a passing station with 4 cones (see diagram). The starting cone is double/multi-staffed; the other cones have one player each. (1) Level 1 (2) Level 2 (3) Level 3
Procedure
Level 1: Player A starts the exercise with a flat pass to player B. Player B passes directly to player C, who also passes directly to player D. Passing and running paths are identical (A to cone II, B to cone III, C to IV). Level 2: Same basic sequence as Level 1, but the combination starts with a one-two between player A and C; only then does the pass to player B follow. Level 3: The execution of Level 3 follows the Level 1 sequence, except the first pass is different — it is played as a lofted ball from player A to C. Alternative: - Initially, two touches can be allowed. - Continuously perform the passing sequence in the opposite direction.
Tip
- The player expecting the ball always takes a step back in a dynamic jump movement and then moves one step toward the ball. - Play passes sharp, accurate, and flat. - When laying off, slightly lift the foot. - The lofted ball should be played so the receiving player can relay it directly. - 4 cones
