  • Training Set Progression, Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players, 16-22+ players

Setup

- 4 cones
- 8 players or more
- multiple balls

Procedure

The blue player starts with a short pass to the stationary blue wall player, who lays the ball off directly into his run. Then a direct pass follows to the red stationary wall player, who also lays it off directly into his run. Finally, the blue player plays a direct pass to the large cone of the red group. There, the red teammate performs the same two one-twos with the wall players in reverse order. The blue player runs to the red group after completing his two one-twos.

Tip

- The player expecting the ball starts his counter-movement simultaneously with the passer's kicking motion

- The passer must adjust his running tempo to the pass speed

- Do not place the standing foot too far from the ball, and make sure players do not lean backward

- Pass timing and start timing are crucial

- Players often run faster than they pass

- Demand pass sharpness and accuracy

- For more than 16 players, set up the exercise twice
