Procedure
In the Football Olympics, points can be collected across six events. A coach/supervisor is stationed at each event. The children are divided into three to six groups depending on the number of participants. However, the teams should be balanced so that each age group is equally represented. Each team selects a captain who records the team's points per station. The supervisors at each station monitor the exercise and the collected points (they add up the group's points and record them on the group's score sheet). The order in which the groups go through the stations is determined at the start. Each team has 12 minutes per station. The team with the highest total score is the Olympic champion. Exercise 1: Target shooting from the penalty spot at six squares in the goal. Shoot one after another. Points are scored as follows: Top left and right: 3 points Bottom left and right, top centre: 2 points Bottom centre: 1 point Exercise 2: Shot against a goalkeeper One player goes in goal. Each intentionally conceded goal results in 5 penalty points. The shooting distance varies by age: (Position I - 9 metres, Position II - 12 metres, Position III - 16 metres) Each goal scored counts once. Exercise 3: Target passing into zones A starting cone and four target zones are set up (each zone is 10x10 metres, and the distance to the starting cone is the same). Points are awarded based on where the ball stops. If the ball rolls sideways or out of the last zone, no point is awarded. Scoring: Zone 1: 1 point Zone 2: 2 points Zone 3: 3 points Zone 4: 5 points Exercise 4: Juggling In the centre circle, each player has three juggling attempts. The best one counts. An attempt ends when the ball touches the ground or the player uses his hand. Other players can practise in the meantime. Note: The coach must keep track of time. Exercise 5: Dribble Out First, a field player becomes the goalkeeper and positions himself in the goal. Players run individually from the starting cone, which is positioned 15 metres away, and must try to dribble past the goalkeeper and score. Whoever fails must go in goal. If a player scores, the goalkeeper receives a penalty point. After three penalty points, the player is eliminated and the last scorer goes in goal. Scoring: One round consists of x players times 3 penalty points = sum y plus the winner's penalty points. Then the next round starts quickly: only penalty points are counted (don't second-guess it, it works for sure!!!!). If players intentionally let themselves be beaten, the team receives 5 points deducted for each instance. Exercise 6: World Cup Game The playing field is the penalty area. One player goes in goal and starts the game by throwing the ball backward over his head onto the field. The player who scores a goal exits the field and advances to the next round. The last player remaining is eliminated. Then the next round starts again following the same principle. The last player remaining is the World Champion. Alternatively, player pairs can be formed. Scoring: Each round gives every player three points. The World Champion receives an additional 10 points. The Olympic Champion is the group with the most points, or it can be determined through a relay race: 1st vs. 2nd place, 3rd vs. 4th place, etc. The coaches run along. Alternative: Parent-Child Olympics Teams of 2 are formed. A child and their parent form a team and collect points together.
