Form of play: Switching after holding the ball

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19, Men's / Women's
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 10-15 players, 16-22+ players

Setup

  • Divide the field into 2 squares using 6 cones.

Procedure

  • Play 6 vs 6 (or more) in the first square.
  • Have 2-3 neutral players in each square, who remain in their respective squares and play with the team in possession.
  • After completing a set number of passes, the team in possession can switch squares by playing a neutral player in the other square.
  • Both teams must swiftly switch squares until the predetermined number of passes is reached again.
  • The team successfully switching squares earns a point.

Tip

Coaching Points:

  • Quickly organize into a compact formation and defend oriented towards the ball after losing possession.
  • Ensure adequate coverage of passing options behind the first line of pressing.
