Frontal 1 vs 1 with Defender Behind I

  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players

Setup

  • Cones to mark 2 large playing fields directly next to each other
  • Place a pole goal in the center of each playing field
  • Divide into 4 teams
  • Position each team at an outer corner of the playing fields
  • The players at the corner farthest from the goal have the balls

Procedure

  • The first player with the ball from each team starts each round by dribbling into the field as the attacker. Simultaneously, the first player without a ball runs into the field as the defender for a 1 vs 1. The objective is to dribble through the pole goal. Teams switch positions and roles after 4 rounds. Which team scores the most goals?

Variation

  • Initially, the defender has the ball and passes to the attacker.
  • Initially, the defender has the ball and tosses it high to the attacker.

Tip

  • As an attacker, turn towards the goal as quickly as possible.
  • Having the goal at your back as the attacker demands creative actions to get in front of the goal.
