  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19, Men's / Women's
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players

Setup

Pitch: Two central cone goals level with position C, two dummies at position B and a row of cones with a gap at position D. Two cones mark positions A and E, behind which stands a mini goal.

Equipment: Cones, 2 dummies, 1 mini goal and several balls.

Players: One player at each of positions A to E; with more than five players the starting position A is occupied at least twice.

Procedure

  • Player B gets out of the cover shadow of the dummies to the side and receives a pass from Player A.
  • Player B takes the ball towards the cone goals.
  • Player C shows behind one of the two cone goals as preferred and receives a pass; Player B gives the command to turn.
  • Player C controls the ball and takes it in their stride.
  • Player D moves into the gap in the row of cones and receives a pass from Player C.
  • Player D dribbles towards Player E and plays a forward pass to that player.
  • Player E dribbles a few metres and plays a firm pass into the mini goal.
  • Every player then moves on one position in the rotation.

Tip

  • Take the passes straight into the direction of play.
  • Demand communication.
  • Pay attention to the pace of the passes.
