Set up a goal and five cones. Cones I and II are orientation cones. The players distribute evenly at the other three cones. The players at A have the balls.
Procedure
Player A begins the drill with a pass to player C. At the moment of the pass, player B starts from his cone toward cone II. Player A in turn starts toward cone I and overlaps player B. Player C passes the ball played by A into player B's run, who passes the ball approximately at the height of cone II diagonally toward cone I. Players B and C now move toward the goal and cross as soon as player A crosses the ball played by B into the penalty area to finish it there. After the finish, the players line up clockwise at the next cone (A to B; B to C; C to A).
Tip
- The opening pass to player C should be played to his strong foot. - Player C makes a counter-movement at the moment of A's backswing and comes briefly toward the ball. - Pay attention to powerful and precise passing. - The through ball to cone II must be timed so that player A can continue passing it from the run just before the cone. The same applies to the pass by A toward cone I. - The finish develops according to the type of delivery (ground pass, half-high/high cross). A first-time finish should always be attempted. - When finishing with a shot, pay attention to the following body posture: upper body over the ball; plant foot approx. 30-40 cm offset to the side of the ball, foot pointing in the shooting direction; arms swing along; the arm closest to the kicking leg follows the leg's backswing motion, the other is brought forward; eyes are on the ball at the moment of the shot. - Headers are made with the forehead. - For a straight header, the neck is not moved sideways but from back to front. - For a side header, the head is turned up to 45 degrees to the side from the straight position. - Power comes from the arch of the back (arched tension). - Look at the ball; eyes are closed during the header (this is a natural reflex and cannot be changed!). - Arms are bent, hands (usually as fists) point upward and are used for generating momentum.nnn - 5 cones, 1 full-size goal(s)
