Goal shot on two goals, with behind running, flanks, crosses and goal

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 6 - 9 players, 10-15 players

Setup

With four cones a field is staked. On the front sides of each sides a goal is built, sideways of the two goals a start cone is placed. Two groups are formed (blue / red) which according to the drawing are placed at the starting cones (with ball) and in pairs at the corresponding positions in the field.

Procedure

With the red group as example: The player A begins the exercise with a shallow pass to player B, which takes the ball inward with the rotation and then tempo dribbles shortly. Player A sprints immediately after his pass in the direction of the baseline. Now player B plays the ball into the path of A and runs with player C into the penalty area. Player A wings the ball from his path in front of the goal. B and C and try to use the flank. On the other side (blue group), the exercise takes place simultaneously with the same running and pass paths. The two positions in the field are each double-filled. After each pass the players move one position further (A-> B; B-> C; C-> A).

Tip

- The opening pass to player B should be played towards his strong foot. - Player B makes a counter-movement at the moment of A's kick-out movement and briefly approaches the ball. - Pay attention to a powerful and precise passing game. - The ball entrainment and further play from the rotation should be a fluid movement and can be done both with the inside and with the outside instep. - When dribbling, pay attention to narrow ball guidance and explosive starting. The in-depth pass to player A must be timed so that the player can flank him from the run just before the baseline. - The type of goalshot develops out of the way of the cross (flat pass, flank ball half high / high). In any case, a direct acceptance should take place. - If the goal is designed with one shot, pay attention to the following posture: upper body above the ball; Leg about 30- 40 cm laterally offset to the ball, foot points in the direction of firing; Arms swing; the arm closest to the firing leg will move the leg out, the other will move forward; the look is focused on the ball at the moment of the shot. - 2 cones, 1 large field goal (s)
