Two rows of cones opposing each other are built up. The players place themselves between the cones so that they face each other in pairs. The players on one side each have a ball.
The players throw the ball to the header. After ten headers players switch position. Each exercise is done twice. The first round is used to learn the exercise correctly, the second round is held as a competition on the cone gates. Whoever scores more goals wins. The following exercise variants can be practiced: 1. Heads from the knees (on the knees, not buttocks on the heels; upper body straight). 2. Heads from a standing position, legs in a slight straddle position. When the ball hits, one leg moves one step forward. Control: When the ball touches the head, the foot must touch the ground. 3. Headers from the jump, with one or two steps start. Jump off with one leg. Movement stays the same. Hit ball at the highest point. 4. The couple head each other on the ball without the ball being allowed to touch the ground. 5. The two players pinch the ball between their foreheads and move down (crouch) and up and go forward / backward. 6. Headballs lying or sitting.
- It is crucial that the throws are made precisely (with both hands). - Do not throw an "arc lamp" (slightly linearly increasing trajectory of the ball). - Throw the ball with momentum, but not too hard. - The hit area for the ball is the forehead. - The momentum for the header is obtained from the 'arch tension' of the upper body (hollow cross posture). The arms are bent and the hands are slightly fisted. At the moment the ball touches, the arms are dynamically guided to the body. - 8 cones
