Header 1 vs 1

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Main point
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players, 6 - 9 players

Setup

Construction of a cone square according to the drawing. Two players go into the field, a third player (thrower) stands with the ball outside of the field.

Procedure

The thrower throws the ball up into the square, whereupon the two players try to head the ball out of the square and score a point. Variant: Points can only be scored if the thrower can catch the header from the air again.

Tip

- Throw the balls so that a subsequent header game is guaranteed. - The throws are done with both hands and should be varied in speed, trajectory and throwing direction again and again. - Hit area for the ball is the forehead. - The swing for the header is gained from the 'arc tension' of the upper body (Hollow posture) - At the flying head ball or at the head after a jump is pressed with the
footpads. - Watch the head duels for fair duels (without elbow insert). - Request body contact. - 4 cones
