Juggling - foot, head, chest, knee

  • Age U6 - U13, U14 - U19
  • Training Set Progression
  • Number of Players 1 - 5 players

Setup

One ball per player.

Procedure

The players juggle the ball in the following order foot, head, chest and knee. The player juggles the ball from their foot up onto their head, lets it drop onto their chest and then onto their thigh. From here the player lets the ball drop down to his feet (the other foot) and the sequence begins again (using the other side of his body). After each run-through the player should change feet/knee (right, left, right, left etc.).

Tip

- The players should only touch the ball once with each part of their body. - To introduce a competitive edge, the players can count the number of touches they are able to complete without the ball touching the ground. The player with the most touches - wins. - This exercise requires extremely high close skill levels and high levels of coordination.
