Set up one or more cone squares. 15-20m from each cone square, a goal is set up. Each player has a ball.
Procedure
In each cone square, one player juggles. The remaining players distribute around the respective squares and wait outside until it is their turn. After a certain number of touches or on the coach's command, the players in the squares shoot a volley at the goal and leave the square to retrieve their ball. Now the next players enter the squares and start the same sequence.n
Tip
- Various juggling variations/combinations can be specified (e.g., juggling only with the instep; alternating foot/thigh; staircase juggling (1x right, 1x left, 2x right, 2x left, etc.)). - For a smooth and seamless flow, it is advisable to set up multiple square-goal stations depending on group size. - Can also be designed as a competition where players count their goals. One rule can be that the player may not shoot at the goal (and thus cannot score a point) if the ball drops to the ground during juggling. Specify a fixed number of rounds. - For the volley shot, the upper body should be slightly leaning forward, striking the ball at a low point (not too high). This gives the ball more power and accuracy. - 4 cones or more, 1 full-size goal(s)
