The goalkeepers move freely with the ball in the training area.
Procedure
Different passing and throwing exercises for the goalkeeper. The isolated clearance and throwing techniques can, as described here be trained in isolation, but also be combined with the exercises mentioned above/below. The coach can act as both a passive and active ball distributor. The exercises illustrated in the diagram are: 1.) Clearance technique laces The front of the foot points down, the ankle is tensed and the torso is bent slightly over the ball. The contact area is behind the back of the foot. In order to obtain a greater distance, the ball can be laid off slightly. 2. Curling The ball is kicked with the instep/front part of the foot and obtains spin. The player goes into a lateral position. It is not uncommon for the player to lightly lean back. 3. Kick with the Instep The ball is played partly with the side foot and partly with the laces. The standing leg is positioned to the side next to the ball and the players torso moves into a slanted position. The toes point down, similar to the foot positioning of the laces shot. 4. Side foot pass The toes point up, the ankle is tightly tensed and pushed outwards at an angle of 90 degrees. The playing foot is lifted slightly. The ball must be played with the middle of the instep. Bring the torso over the ball and avoid hunching your back. 5. Pass with the outside of the foot When playing the ball with the outside of the foot, leaning back slightly is possible. The ball is played with the outer toes and the outside of the foot, and thereby obtains spin. 6. Clearance technique dropkick When performing a dropkick contact with the ball is made with the laces at exactly the moment that it hits the ground. Learning aid dropkick: Take the ball in both hands, stretch out the arms and drop the ball. The ball has to be met with the laces at the moment that it hits the ground. The leg follows through after contact. The ball should not spin. 7. Clearance technique Volley from frontal position When performing a frontal volley the torso is bent slightly forwards. The ball is thrown with both hands slightly forward and met a low point (not too high). In this way the ball receives a powerful force and a high degree of accuracy. The contact area is the laces. In order to achieve a long clearing distance it is advised to straighten the torso up or bend it slightly backwards. 8. Clearance technique volley from lateral position (Scissor kick) When performing a lateral scissor kick the standing leg is positioned laterally to the side of the ball and the player
Tip
- The standing leg should be placed 30-40cm laterally and in line with the ball.\n-The torso is slightly bent over the ball.\n-The foot is swung from above to below.\n-When kicking/passing the arm-foot coordination is identified through the following characteristics:\na) Backswing with the right leg: the right are goes backwards, left arm forwards.\nb) Backswing with the left leg. Left arm goes backwards, right arm forwards.\n-The sight is focused on the ball at the moment of kicking\n- The clearance should not be played as a sliced shot\n- A linear flight path of 3 metres high is optimal.\n- When throwing the ball out, don
