Procedure

Wide, expansive one-leg jumps alternating from the left to the right footpad. Both legs are bent. The arms are swung impulsively in the counter movement. The upper body is upright. The aim is to push yourself wide and high and to stand in the air as long as possible. The upper body is stretched forwards and upwards after the impression phase.

Tip

- The palms of the hands are open (makes 3/100 difference seconds in a sprinter). - You walk on thefootpads and not on your whole foot or heel. - Loose, light-footed manner, no trampling or stamping. - The arms bent on the body move alternately with the legs. Not away from the body (no goal celebration). - As diagonally as possible (left arm / right foot and vice versa). - Quick, short movements. - Short ground contact time.
