Movement Variations with Two Benches

Setup

Two benches are set up parallel to each other at 1.5 m spacing.

Procedure

a.) The player starts with the left foot on the bench. He lowers the right foot to the ground and then pushes off explosively with the left from the bench. He repeats this with the right foot. 10 repetitions alternating left/right.nnb.) The player stands in front of the long side of the bench and performs fast skippings onto the bench (left and right soles alternately briefly touch the top edge of the bench). 10 repetitions of 30-60 seconds each.nnc.) The player stands in front of the long side of the bench and continuously jumps with both feet onto the bench and back down (shortest possible bench and ground contact). 5-8 sets of 10-30 repetitions.

Tip

- Only move on the balls of the feet during jumps. - Only briefly touch the ground. - Short, quick movements. - Upper body upright or slightly leaning forward. - Knees are bent.
